Jinggong Steel International Hosts 2018 Fresh Graduates Welcome Ceremony

After one month of training, 8 fresh graduates of Jinggong steel International successfully completed the training of the group headquarters, and officially reported to the company on July 30. The company arranged the dormitory for them in advance and handled the employee card to welcome them.

The welcome ceremony for fresh graduates was brief and grand, and general manager Dr Chen, deputy general manager Emily Wang and seven mentors from the technical section attended the welcome ceremony. At the ceremony, Ms. Wang expressed her welcome to the fresh graduates who joined Jinggong Steel International, hoped that with the help of the team, they will integrate into the company as soon as possible, and both encouraged everyone to master the relevant skills. At last of her speech, Ms. Wang expressed her good wish that the new graduates can apply what they have learned to the work flexibly and successfully completing the transition from students to employees under the guidance of the mentor.

Following the Dr. Chen introduced the characteristics of the international market of steel structure. He proposed six skills requirements for the fresh graduates. At first, they need to have a good seize of language. This is the basic requirement of international business. Secondly, it is necessary to develop a careful and professional spirit. The “almost” that we often mention in chinese is propbably “a lot worse” in international business operations. It is not only an aspect of the concept, but also the method. Thirdly, technology leadership is always a prerequisite for management leadership in international business, this is the foundation of the company. Fourthly is to change from a single technical talent to a technology-based composite talent. Fifthly, Dr Chen asks the fresh graduates to carry out the rigor of project operation system in work, always attach importance to safety and technology throughout the whole project operation. The last is to master and continuously improve relevant technical capabilities, since the technology is a crucial means for companies to control costs.

Meanwhile, Mr. Chen also put forward two basic requirements for the work of the fresh graduates. First, he hopes, these young people that can master basic skills and avoid of being a man that aims high but accomplishs little. The second is to truly understand the jinggong culture of "doing things in attention, turning the impossible into a possibility; touch people by treating with sincerity."

Another important agenda of the Welcome Conference is the “Teachers and mentors Signing Ceremony”. Before the ceremony, Mr. Chen gave a specific introduction to the business characteristics of the seven mentors to the fresh graduates. Subsequently, under the witness of the company leaders, eight pairs of apprentices signed the “Teacher and Apprentice Pairing Agreement”. At the signing ceremony, the representative of the fresh graduates, Jiancheng Liu, presented a cup of tea to Nadine Guo, the representative of the mentors, which represented the formal pairing of the 8 fresh graduates with the mentors, and became a member of the company, growing together with Jinggong Steel International.

The eight fresh graduates from Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, Anhui University of Technology and other universities, mainly majoring in civil engineering., And three of them are masters of structural design. Their arrival has not only improved the construction of technical line talents such as structural design, construction technology and shop drawing design, but also an important supplement to the company's talent reserve.
