On 20th, January, 2016, The 13th National Winter Games started with opening ceremony in Speed Skating Pavilion of Xinjiang Ice Sports Center. 52 delegations from all over China and 3600 spectators gathered together and enjoyed the ceremony.

The 13th National Winter Games is the first large sports game this Pavilion holds after being built, and is also the first large integrated sports game held in Xinjiang.

The attitude of this Speed Skating Pavilion is the highest among speed skating pavilions in the world. The pavilion was built from Feb, 2013 to Dec, 2014. As the main contractor of steel structure and roofing of the Speed Skating Pavilion, Jinggong Steel was in charge of design, fabrication and erection, and the project passed acception check only once when completed.
